
Sanghoon Han BScH, MSc.
Sanghoon
Han has been with Medix College of Healthcare in the Department of Massage
Therapy and Fitness and Health Promotion since 2008. He currently teaches at the Toronto,
Brampton, and Scarborough Campuses as the Senior Health Sciences Instructor and
Curriculum Administrator for both departments.
He completed his education at Queen’s University (Kingston, ON)
graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Masters of
Science Degree in Anatomical Sciences.
Sanghoon
has studied a variety of teaching standards and methods primarily focusing in
human anatomy and physiology, and curriculum design. He has participated in many educational
workshops and conferences both as a student and instructor to further his
understanding and development as an educator in the post-secondary
environment. Through his studies and
educational training, he has gained valuable skills in teaching techniques and
styles to become a competent and effective lecturer. By acquiring the necessary knowledge in
subjects pertaining to advanced clinical anatomical education including
Anatomy, Physiology, Nutrition, Neurology, Embryology, and Pathology, he has
become successful in teaching undergraduate, graduate, and college level courses
in various fields of health sciences.
Sanghoon’s
approach to teaching excellence has adapted with every lecture; however, his
teaching philosophy has always remained constant. Teaching has been his opportunity to educate,
inspire, and empower individuals in their respective fields. He considers himself not only an educator
who simply delivers information to his students, but more so as a facilitator
and advisor of learning. His principle
of learning has always been to focus on superior education, while understanding
the true value and importance of various teaching modalities that accommodate
for different learning styles.

Jason Blackwood RMT
Jason
Blackwood (RMT) has been a Registered Massage Therapist for over a decade,
practicing as an integral part within a multi-discipline clinic. He attended
Centennial College; where he later went on to teach clinical assessment and
treatment classes.
He then helped jump
start one of Ontario’s first bridging programs for Centennial College. He has since
left Centennial and has joined the Medix College team to provide quality
delivery of assigned courses using teaching, tutoring, and lecturing methods.
He is responsible for administrating the assigned course of study within a
diploma program by planning, overseeing, and evaluating the activities of
students. He is a co-owner of a sports wellness and rehabilitation center, thus
making him a strong believer in balancing the theoretical and practical
components of Massage Therapy.
