How large are the classes?

Medix College provides a unique opportunity for individualized student attention by maintaining smaller classes through a limited enrollment.

Is there the opportunity to sit in a class and speak to current students and/or graduates?

Prospective students are encouraged to sit in during a regularly scheduled class prior to enrollment.  This will give prospective students the opportunity to witness our unique classroom structure and dynamic. 

What is its history of success at the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario certification exams?

The growth of the Massage Therapy Program has been accompanied with increased success in both the OSCE Exam and MCQ exam.  For further information, feel free to inquire about our Certification Exam statistics with our Massage Therapy Instructors or visit www.cmto.com.

Does the school have positive name recognition with employers?

The majority of Medix College Massage Therapy graduates are currently employed in the field.  Graduate - employment statistics are available in our Career Services Office.

Is there an Advanced Standing option available if I have already taken science courses?

The Massage Therapy Program does have an Advanced Standings stream for those students who have a Degree in Health Science from a Canadian University.  Admission to the Advanced Standings stream is not guaranteed and will be handled on a case-by-case babis.

Are written materials provided that clearly explain the school’s policies? 

Upon enrollment students will receive an enrollment package and a student hand book that clearly outline student expectation.  This material will also be reinforced in your classroom by your instructors.

Does the school sign a contract with its students?

All interactions with Medix College are documented.  Each student will have both an academic and administrative portfolio.

How long has the school been in business?

For over 40 years Medix College has been providing industry leading Health Care career training for those looking to become medical professionals. Currently Medix College has six campuses across Ontario.

Is tutoring available?

The Massage Therapy instructors often volunteer their own personal time to assist students in their studies.  Assistance usually takes place through e-mail interaction, telephone, and in-person by appointment.
