Sanghoon Han
BScH, MSc.

Sanghoon Han has been with Medix College of Healthcare in the Department of Massage Therapy and Fitness and Health Promotion since 2008.  He currently teaches at the Toronto, Brampton, and Scarborough Campuses as the Senior Health Sciences Instructor and Curriculum Administrator for both departments.  He completed his education at Queen’s University (Kingston, ON) graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a Masters of Science Degree in Anatomical Sciences.

Sanghoon has studied a variety of teaching standards and methods primarily focusing in human anatomy and physiology, and curriculum design.  He has participated in many educational workshops and conferences both as a student and instructor to further his understanding and development as an educator in the post-secondary environment.  Through his studies and educational training, he has gained valuable skills in teaching techniques and styles to become a competent and effective lecturer.  By acquiring the necessary knowledge in subjects pertaining to advanced clinical anatomical education including Anatomy, Physiology, Nutrition, Neurology, Embryology, and Pathology, he has become successful in teaching undergraduate, graduate, and college level courses in various fields of health sciences.

Sanghoon’s approach to teaching excellence has adapted with every lecture; however, his teaching philosophy has always remained constant.  Teaching has been his opportunity to educate, inspire, and empower individuals in their respective fields.  He considers himself not only an educator who simply delivers information to his students, but more so as a facilitator and advisor of learning.  His principle of learning has always been to focus on superior education, while understanding the true value and importance of various teaching modalities that accommodate for different learning styles.
